Leadership and Opportunities
The newsletter continues to highlight the NABIP-Dallas 2025–2026 Board of Directors, with Jennifer Stanley as President. Members are invited to deepen their involvement by applying for open positions such as Vice President, Membership Co-Chair, Retention Chair, Sponsorship Chair, and Legislative Co-Chair. Board meetings are held on the first Friday of each month, with additional opportunities to contribute through special projects, events, and community initiatives.
Upcoming Events
The calendar is full of engaging opportunities. On June 11, members will gather in Plano for the Board Induction and Luncheon featuring guest speaker Rusty Rice. On July 16, Jared Leshin will lead a webinar titled “Guest-Seat to C-Suite: Using Podcasts to Open High-Value Doors,” demonstrating how benefits professionals can use podcasting as a business development strategy. His session promises practical takeaways, including outreach templates, content workflows, and a firsthand look at Hyperspark’s podcasting tools. A pickleball outing is also planned in conjunction with the July event.
In August, NABIP-Dallas will host the all-day Rockstar Sales Summit, with details to be announced. September brings another major program, “Reimagining Employee Benefits,” presented by Greg Allen of AG Insurance. Together, these events reflect NABIP-Dallas’ focus on innovation, growth, and practical tools for success.
Professional Development and National Impact
NABIP’s Weekly Insider section emphasizes career-building opportunities and resources. At the NABIP Annual Convention in Miami, June 28 to July 1, members will access professional development tracks in Medicare and healthcare innovation, agency growth, technology, and leadership. The MORE Sales System is introduced as a structured approach to creating long-term client relationships. Members are also urged to take part in advocacy by contacting Congress to extend ACA premium tax credits, which are set to expire at the end of 2025.
The issue also unveils NABIP’s Q1 2025 Impact & Influence Report, which highlights record-setting achievements. Membership grew by 746 new members, marking the strongest March since 2017. Medicare certification revenue rose 150% compared to 2022. The Capitol Conference drew over 700 brokers, the largest turnout in years, with 240 legislative actions taken to protect brokers and improve transparency. NABIP also collected 12,000 survey responses for advocacy, achieved an average 39% email open rate, and saw a 195% increase in social media activity. These metrics showcase NABIP’s growing influence nationwide.
Advocacy and Legislative Update
The NABIP-TX PAC remains central to state-level advocacy, supporting candidates who promote affordable, practical healthcare solutions. Members are encouraged to contribute monthly or through one-time donations to sustain this work. At the national level, NABIP’s Washington Update features advocacy on extending premium tax credits, a new Healthcare Happy Hour podcast episode, and a featured address from CCID Director Peter Nelson. These updates underscore NABIP’s commitment to shaping healthcare through both education and direct advocacy.

The 2025 NABIP Annual Convention in Miami is positioned as a premier event, offering a mix of networking, inspiration, and education. Attendees will connect with industry leaders, explore innovations in the exhibit hall, and participate in sessions designed to strengthen expertise and leadership. The convention promises a balance of professional growth and leisure, reinforcing NABIP’s mission to “Connect, Innovate, Lead.”
Resources and Member Benefits
The NABIP Resource Hub continues to provide a wide selection of guides, case studies, and industry analysis. This month’s featured resource once again emphasizes Section 105 Medical Reimbursement Plans, which provide tax-saving alternatives for healthcare funding. Locally, NABIP-Dallas luncheons continue on the third Wednesday of each month, with rotating locations. New members are invited to attend their first luncheon free of charge, and members also benefit from complimentary virtual CE webinars through the Lone Star Chapter.
